when u sit by ur self u dun think about death? u dun think it may come for u in anytime. it is not related by age or health or fitness . just sit alone in total dark room for 10 mins imagine ur self in ur grave by ur self no m8s no relatives no one but you no drink no food & as soon as the grave close 2 bold &ugly angels will appear for u and the real question wat did u prepare for this day?

why do you imagine the grave this UGLY picture ?

i bet you, if you were able to think in your mothers womb, you'll say something similar about this earth..you'll say "imagine when i get out of this comfortable place, out of the person that loves me, i dont know when can i be able to eat or drink, people will hurt me, i may hate every thing, etc.."

but when you are born..you see what you feared from, but you you may not PASS THROW what you knew, you may live a happy life, loving all people, feeling safer than before, etc..

the same is to the grave

what you are saying is there, but why do you want to go for it, while there are BEAUTIFUL THINGS in there

if you are a true believer in GOD, you'll know that HE is all merciful

will the grave be a BAD thing, when you are going to be with ALLAH ?

whom do you need other than HIM with you

instead of living with people, you will live with angels
instead of being afraid of tomorrow, you'll be feeling safe, when it is minuites between you and meeting ALLAH again after this journey

it's not because there are bad thing, we SHOULD pass throw it, it's us who choose..you know that there are bad and GOOD

you decide

i personally know that GOD created us, protected us, never left us alone, from nothing, to spirit form, to the mother womb, to this life..if you feel that you were forsaken in the past..expect to be forsaken in the future

and if you see love and mercy in the past, why dont you expect this in the future

just dont go with your thoughts to the extreme, and think wisely, and CHOOSE YOUR WAY

SO I WOULDNT REALLY BE SCARED OF DEATH BUT I AM SCARED OF THE PUNISHMENT I WILL FACE IF I DONT DIE AS A BELIEVER AND DIE WITH IMAN...???

Wow different perspective on death, thanks brother Tere, InshAllah we'll die on Imaan.

Even if we don't imagine and want to ignore the death it will not benefit to us. As Allah said:



" Surely the death from which you flee will surely meet you, then you will be sent back to (Allah), the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will tell you what you used to do." (62:8) !



When u are sure, there is an enemy who want to attack u, What would u do?

A brilliant student prepares well before exam, so when exam comes , he is at ease. Same is the case with death. We all know well that death is inevitable reality, there is no way to escape. The only solution to this problem is to prepare well (that is to live your life as Allah wants -practise islam-follow Quran and Sunnah) so that when death would come, you would be happy and satisfied Insha Allah.


Allah says:

"Every soul shall have a taste of death: and only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense (reward). Only he who is saved far from the Hell Fire and admitted to the Paradise will have attained the objective (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception (misleading enjoyment) “(3:185)


Allah also says:

No soul can ever die except by Allah's leave and at a term appointed. Whoever desires the reward of the world, We shall give it to him; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. We shall reward the thankful. 003.145


Man must know that everything in the life of this world is only transitory. It is God (Allah) who is timeless. In one verse,Allah describes the life of this world in these words:



Everyone on earth will pass away; but the Face of your Lord will remain, Master of Majesty and Generosity. (Qur'an, 55: 26-27)


So let's try our best to please Allah.

thx for your words, but this isnt a new thing to mention (i mean the idea of optimism in death)

the problem is.. the imams keep stressing on the point of torture of the grave, while the prophet (pbuh) said that

there will be people whom will wake up in the hereafter together, you can find friends or whole families, holding there hands together and walking together for meeting ALLAH for judgement

angels will wake believers like when some one wakes you up in safety

there are people whom will be riding horses..not walking and feeling this mess which will be there

there are 7 kinds of people whom will be DIRCTLY under the throne of GOD

the most important thing, is that GOD said that HE IS MORE MERCIFUL ON HIS SLAVE THAN A MOTHER ON HER BABY

why do the imams always try to hide from people what ALLAH promised them for there good deeds, and JUST REMIND THEM WITH THE BLACK ENDINGS OF THE NON-BELIEVERS AND PEOPLE ALIKE !!!!

this isnt a new example or perspective..this is what should be said between believers of ALLAH..this is supposed to be the NORMAL thing..say the bad AND THE GOOD

being NEW or DIFFERENT..this is a CATASTROPHE :(
